The fact that you don't feel pain means nothing more than your nerve is dead to that tooth. That doesn't mean that everything will be ok with out either extracting the tooth or having a root canal done. If you choose the root canal then it will need a crown to follow soon. Don't put it off too long because no pain will only last a while but some day it will infect and cause pretty intense pain.Health Question & Answer
