Will Sodium bicarbonate (in baking powder) eat away the enamel on my teeth?!

Question: Will Sodium bicarbonate (in baking powder) eat away the enamel on my teeth.?
I read somewhere that it can make your teeth whiter when you brush with it (along with toothpaste, of course), so I wondered whether its acidic nature would cause it to eat away tooth enamel. I'm kinda curious, so please answer. Thanks!Health Question & Answer

Answers:
No. Baking soda 50% hydrogen peroxide 50% can be used as a toothpaste. However, Your better off with actual toothpaste because it has additives like calcium pending on brand and ingredients. The hydrogen peroxide kills the bacteria and the baking soda absorbs it. rinsing with warm salt water will bring the infection to the surface where your saliva can kill it. And I guess salt is like a spanish fly when it comes to your T-cells where sugar is like spanish fly to the bad bacteria. causes it to reproduce more quickly.Health Question & Answer
