Where were animal rights activists when I had my wisdom teeth pulled?!

Question: Where were animal rights activists when I had my wisdom teeth pulled.?
You are so concerned about my cat getting declawed, which can be done painlessly with laser surgery ( Seen it done on my last two cats). If Im such an animal, where were you when they ripped my wisdom teeth from the skull of me the animal.? You should have been there defending me, telling me my teeth are natural and to remove them is stupid!Health Question & Answer

Yep, I agree that getting your wisdom teeth pulled (I had them done with no gas, just shots, pure hell) is barbaric. Luckily, it only has to be done once, just like getting declawed. They say it's wrong to declaw your cat, but the really don't need their claws when they are a 100% house cat. They don't need them to climb or fight with. My friend's cat is declawed, she's not emotionally scarred or anything.Health Question & Answer

Generally, animal rights activists are concerned with animals that are not humans. Animals an humans all communicate, but direct communication between species is not possible to date. Therefore, animals cannot communicate to help/save themselves from harmful situations. This leads some to believe they have lower forms of intelligence, when in fact, scientific evidence suggests otherwise. For humans, it is assumed that a person is usually able to directly communicate with other humans in some fashion (be it verbal or nonverbal) to express needs, wishes, and desires. Since this is the case, humans such as yourself are capable of defending yourself in harmful situations without the help of an outside specie.

My guess was that your motivation was for long term health and well being. Now that you've experienced the temporary pain/discomfort, you are looking for a way to vent. This is understandable, but your method is unreasonable.

PS You may also want to consider the fact that you will survive perfectly well without those wisdom teeth while your cats, should they get loose, will likely not survive without the claws to defend themselves and catch food.Health Question & Answer

Another denticidal tragedy. A wisdom tooth painfully, brutally ripped from its socket by a seemingly madman-like gesture as the dentist cruelly cut into the gums and jaw to remove it in broken, cracked fragments.

This absolutely must stop! Stop the dentists! Stop them or else humanity will be without wisdom.Health Question & Answer

They only care about animals, not people. If they cared so much about people they would be defending helpless unborn children murdered by abortion also. Tsk...tsk......Health Question & Answer
