How long did you have to wear rubberbands for your braces?!

Question: How long did you have to wear rubberbands for your braces.?

i just got them on.

i have a medium sized overbite, but nothing too big.

i get my braces off in a year, but i heard that you get your rubberbands off right before you get your braces off, so do i have to wear rubberbands for an entire year.?

oh, and i have "triangle" rubberbands, is that bad.?
oh god i hope not. xDD

You usually get them off maybe a month or so before you get the braces off, it all varies by patient. I had braces twice in my life for a total of four years, and I wore rubber bands for maybe like 2 years.Health Question & Answer

i got my braces on march 4th 2008 and im getting them off on sometime in march in 2009 and i went to the orth last saturday and he gave me rubberbands and i only have to wear them at night but it doesnt matter how your supposed to have your rubber bands it's just good that they are coming off soon and you may not think its soon but trust me once you get them off you will love the resultsHealth Question & Answer
