What would the dentists do? I know I would have to get braces...but I need a dentist's opinion!?!

Question: What would the dentists do.? I know I would have to get braces...but I need a dentist's opinion!.?
Okay I have terrible teeth!
On my top teeth I have a tooth next to my big front teeth that is turned. We always thought it would straighten out. In about 2007 I started to feel this pain in my upper gum and I just thought it was a canker sore... but i started to grow my eye tooth i think it is called or something like that in my upper gum because it had no room to grow down because my other tooth was turned... I am very embarrassed of this. I haven't been to the dentist because I am worried of what they will do...

Now I do not want wire braces because I know I probably wouldn't take care of them... and I would hate wire braces, I would want to get invisalign... would they work.?
Here is a pic of my teeth:

In most terms, yes, you would require braces and depending on your situation, you might need some teeth pulled. However, its not as bad as it sounds, I have been through the braces phase and I turned out fine. The pain of having braces is tough at at times (the first few weeks and when they would tighten them), but you can take OTC pain pills to help such as Tylenol. Invisalign is available with most orthodontists, but they can be easily shattered as they are fragile. They are also a bit expensive compared to wire braces. I would consult your dentist/orthodontist for a one on one chat about your teeth though as everyone's situation is different.Health Question & Answer

OMG I HAVE THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM....

My teeth are even worse then yours though. I have 2 eye teeth, one on each side. I am very embarrassed by them too. I have even been called a vampire before. I don't know how old you are but I am 16. You are going to need to go to the ortho. What they will probably do is pull a few teeth and you will probably need to get some kind of braces. I was looking into invisiline too but I don't think that will work for us until those eye teeth move back into place. I think you are going to need braces first. Go to the ortho. for a consultation and if you need braces and have the chance to get them please do!!Health Question & Answer
