I want to improve my smile and do some reshaping for my front teeth. I know that lumineers are expensive and bonding is much cheaper. I have had bonding on one of my front teeth (due to a chip) for about 15 years now. I have had it replaced 3 times. It lasted 8 years the first time. If you find a dentist you trust, I think it can look as good as lumineers. If you are doing your whole mouth/smile, I don't know what the results would look like. The color in bonding can change over years, but avoiding smoking, coffee, and red wine and brushing regularly will minimize this problem. It cost about $200 I believe, so over the course of 15 years it's cost more like $600. Because it was "required" to correct eating for me, it was covered by insurance.
