Nope. The numbing shot does kinda hurt, but only for a few seconds. When they actually pull the tooth, u can hear it and feel the pressure, but it does not hurt.Health Question & Answer
For $200 my dentist numbed me up and I didn't feel a thing until the next day . Mainly soreness but it went away pretty quick ( 1 week) now I feel GREAT!

$200 for 20 min work (mostly prep work by the assistant). Maybe I got ripped off, but it worked. Not too bad pay I say. 20 people behind me and 15 ahead of me...so he's making a killing
