Question: How long would i have braces.?
ok, so my teeth are really straight, except for four on the bottom, and my two front teeth (there is a gap between my two front teeth). i want braces to fix the gap, but not the bottom teeth. how long would i have the braces for my two front teeth on, since the gap isn't terribly big.? and does it hurt to get braces put on.?Health Question & Answer

If you can, try to find an orthodontist who uses "Tip-Edge" braces. They move teeth much faster because they tip them, which is a more natural way for them to move than pushing the whole tooth bodily. I have them, and I'll only need them for 6 months (and that's with more problems than you, like a cross bite!).

you will probably have them on for a year to a year in a half, they do hurt the first couple of days. I've had mine on for a year in a half and braces have had made a big difference. It also depends on the othordontist you may use. Some take braces off quick while others leave them on. I hated getting on my braces but its defintly worth it to have a great smile for the rest of your life.Health Question & Answer
