Can you pick the color of elastics for braces?!

yea you can pick them. I had pink/purple alternating....green and red for christmas....red white and blue for 4th of july...pink yellow purple for easter...I had black and pink quite frequently....clear elastics...you name the color i had it. I even had glow in the dark elastics. The only time you become limited in color choices (alternating between eacth tooth) is when they put on the power chains. Then I was stuck to pink on top purple on bottom (Its one long chain of elastics all together.)

Heck I even got bored one day and redid my own elastics. I had pink/aqua on top and bottom. I went through with tweezers and put them pink and green each tooth. They didn't even notice I did that. (I don't reccomend doing that but...)Health Question & Answer

Unfortunately you cannot pick the color of your elastics because most companies give elastics color based on tensile strength so the dentist would chose the one that is most appropriate one for your orthodontic needs.Health Question & Answer
