the money will probably depend on how bad her teeth are and the work involved in straightening them. if you were on a waiting list before she was 16 then perhaps you should speak to your dentist regarding why it wasn't noticed that she was going to turn 16 before her ortho appointment. In pounds normally it's around 2 - 3 grand but every surgeon is different and it depends on your area to how expensive things can be. Dentists go to uni for 5 years then do a few years extra to learn how to do braces then they have to pay charges every year to stay registered and they have to do training courses that cost a bomb thats why it costs so much. make sure if your spending so much on her teeth that she looks after them really well!Health Question & Answer
