okay bottom is much worse than top. the pain is bad right now but i promise every day it will hurt a little less and in a week you wont feel them. take a motrin or tylenol.Health Question & Answer
Mine hurt for 2 weeks, then it was fine. After that, they give you a different wire every month and that makes it hurt more but never as much as when you first got them. One person I know said they didn't hurt at all, so it is different for every person. Take some pain relief if it is really really bad (But don't ever overdose!!! I've had braces for 5 yeas and the pain lasts a few days. Just take some pain medicine and eat soft foods. It'll all be worth it when the come off though!
Some side advice: when you get your retainer after you get your braces off, wear it. i didn't wear mine at all and my buck teeth are starting to come back. its the least you can do for you parents who spent all that money for you.Health Question & Answer

It will hurt off and on . Take some Liquid medicine or some Motrin it will help . Try to say away from hard stuff like chips .You can chew sugarless gum . Take careHealth Question & Answer
