okay i went to the orthadontist and i have to get braces top and bottom and elastics and it will cost like $5000-$6000 dollars.
how much more money would it be to get the braces done behind your teeth.? because i have seen it on tv before where people have had the braces behind their teeth and i want that.
so, i was just wondering how much it would cost.

it should be about $1,000 more. Lingual orthodontics (brackets placed on the lingual surface of teeth) is more expensive because the brackets are more expensive. also, the technique is a bit more demanding and the added bonus of aesthetics.Health Question & Answer
Braces on the back of the teeth, Lingual Braces usually cost more than regular braces as the technique is more difficult.
Your orthodontist has to have some sort of experience to give you these lingual braces. Not every orthodontist is able to provide you with these braces.
+ Ive heard they give you a lisp too, and your tongue will always be playing with the braces. (What I think anyway)
So I think its best you stay with traditional braces, unless you're willing to pay more and take better care of these lingual braces.Health Question & Answer
