hes had this tooth ache for a week he been to dentist they was gonna pull the tooth ut but couldn't as the injections didn't work so they gave hi some strong antibiotics to take infection away and then they will pull the tooth out is there any strong painkillers to take the pain away as he find it difficult to eat hes try pro pain plusHealth Question & Answer

I had chronic toothache a couple of weeks ago and the only thing that got the edge on it was nurofen, plus you can take 3 pills at a time as long as its for a limited time, wont do him any harm and should help the pain. Good luck with it.Health Question & Answer
Apparently your partner(are we square dancing,these days)Just a joke.LOL.Anyway your partner had too much infection for an anesthetic to work so he/she was given antibiotics for this infection.What people don't realize is the inflammation and infection are causing the pain so the antibiotics are more important in killing pain than pain relievers.If he/she can take it 800 mg of Motrin(Rx strength)will help with the inflammation which is causing the pain.Stay on the antibiotics,relief should arrive after 48 hrs....Or call the Dentist and require a stronger pain reliever like Vicodin or Lorcet.Health Question & Answer
