Are there any dentists out there... please help me..?!

Question: Are there any dentists out there... please help me...?
on tuesday i had 2 wisdom teeth extracted. the first one ended up with a fraction of skull bone coming away with the tooth and required stitching.... the second one, on the bottom, snapped off at the root.
I have been in agony ever since.
What should I do next.?.? Make an appointment to be xrayed.?.? How does the dentist get the roots out.? Does this mean I need surgery.?.?.?.?

What can I do for the pain..... please help.... its bringing me to tears its that bad.Health Question & Answer

Hate to tell you but you have already had surgery! Having teeth removed from your jaw is surgery.
Having a little bit of sinus floor come out with your upper wisdom tooth happens fairly commonly. Having a lot of bone say your tuberosity of the back corner piece of your upper jaw is much less common but can happen (has happened once to me).
I would suspect that your discomfort is coming from the bottom extraction site.?.? Your dentist should have given your a prescription for painkillers. And he/she should have told you what the next step is. If the fractured roots where not removed, is he not referring you out to an oral surgeon (a specialist who makes his bread and butter doing tough surgery).? The roots need to be removed. Either he should have done it, is going to do it, or is referring you out so someone more skilled can do it. Good luck.Health Question & Answer

Ring dental surgery and ask receptionist to speak to dentist when possible, to request prescription for strong painkillers as you are finding the level of pain intolerable. Say you will ring back in an hour to confirm script done, and then collect. If you consider the drug not to be strong enough, you say so,you are the sufferer and there is a duty of care to you.Health Question & Answer

You need to go to the dentist ASAP as he is the only one who can help you.

If the problem is caused by bone fragments, then you will need "surgery". However, this can be done "in the chair" and with local anesthesia, so no need to go to a hospital.Health Question & Answer

Tears.?....you need to call the doctor back....and them ask them all these questions......Health Question & Answer
