I just had my teeth pulled out and now the anesthetic is wearing off...?!


Question: I just had my teeth pulled out and now the anesthetic is wearing off....?
My dentist said to take paracetamol, which I did but it still really hurts (its supposed to by the way). Is there anyway to reduce the pain without taking any more tablets etc.

Answers:
Only take the medication as perscribed by your dentist. Do not overdose. You may need something stronger. But usually the pain starts to go away by the next day. That medication may cause you to be drowsy and you may feel a little sick. If the pain is bearable, I would switch to ibupropin, like Motrin. My daughter just had a tooth pulled. Sje needed just one pill then she switched to Motrin.Health Question & Answer
