Are temporary crowns mobile? can they move around?!

Question: Are temporary crowns mobile.? can they move around.?
you know what i mean. can like the actual tooth move back and forth. plz help.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Ok. Temporary crowns are put on with temporary cement. They CAN stay on for long periods of time but rarely do. If it feels like the tooth is moving, it is probably the crown loosening up. I would have the dentist check it to be safe. You really don't want to swallow it or aspirate it.Health Question & Answer

temporary crowns should not move around. they are cemented in with a temporary cement most likely called temp-bond. this product will keep a temporary crown on for up to a year. if it does move then the bond might not be that strong and you might want to go back to your dentist for re-cementation.Health Question & Answer

They shouldn't; call your dentist back.Health Question & Answer
