Is it normal if my teeth turned blue-green?!

Question: Is it normal if my teeth turned blue-green.?
The bottom of one of my top molars on the right side of my jaw turned blue-green on the bottom. I brush my teeth twice a day and floss, and I have braces. My teeth don't feel mossy or dirty. The blue-green part of the tooth feels smooth when I run my tongue across it. also, I have a metal band around that tooth. Should I see a dentist.? Thanks a lot. I'm really scared about it, is it rotten.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
There are some temporary filling materials that are blue & green,
but the color stays quite distinct and can not be confused with a shadowy blue green, another possibility is that the metal from the braces is rbbing onto a composite filling which can pick up metal quite readily.

Since it is blue, and you are young enough to have braces. I would think it a temporary material the orhtodontist placed on top of your teeth to open your bite up.

Hope it helpsHealth Question & Answer

I would go see your dentist right away, just to be sure it's not infected or anything, and so you can find something to help/get rid of itHealth Question & Answer

i think the metal is corroding. you might be drinking or eating too much ascidic foods. go see your dentist. in the 8 years i had braces (no lie) i never had a problem like thatHealth Question & Answer
