Answers:
It auctally depends on what dentist you go to. i go to OSHU and when i got my braces they didn't hurt at all. I was like wondering why people were saying they hurt, but to me they didn't. and i still shewed gum, and ate carmal and popcorn, and nothing bad happen. But you just have to brush your teeth after every meal. So just don't worry, if they hurt like if they are to tighten then you can get them losendedHealth Question & Answer

Well besides your confidence,

They hurt when you first get them on since your mouth isnt used to them.

When you go in for your monthly tightenings they put new wires and that can be a little irratating, but you get used to it.

For the most part you adjust and they arent a problem.Health Question & Answer

When I had them they only bothered me some of the time. Before I got them I thought they would hurt all the time but mine didnt. My dentist gave me a wax product to put on top the braces so that they didnt rub my lips raw and that helped a lot.Health Question & Answer

Braces are by far one of the worst experiences you will ever know. Headaches, tooth aches, loss of appetite, oww. You'll always be eating applesauce and pudding. But the end result is worth all the pain.Health Question & Answer

aww..no they dont. i've had them for almost 4 years...im not proud of it haha..but they dont. there uncomfortable at first..then when you get them tightened..your mouth is sore for a couple days..then if the wires nic and poke you..just put wax on them..it should help! :]Health Question & Answer

When I got them about 9 or 10 years ago, they hurt when they were first put on, and then they would hurt for a day or so every time they tightened them. Other than that, they were never painful. Good luck!Health Question & Answer
