What the heck can I eat around here?!?!

Question: What the heck can I eat around here.?!.?
I just got braces two days ago, and my teeth hurt like heck. I can't find anything soft and good to eat. Anything besides soup, jello, pudding etc, I've eaten like everything, but I'm still starved!Health Question & Answer

The pain doesn't last too long. But painkillers still don't really help chewing. After one week you can eat just about anything that's not off limits.
If you need some fuel, try putting some peanut butter (or something like that like nutella or something) on bread. If you have any noodles, those are easy to swallow. Just boil some water, throw them in, then take them out and add some butter and salt, and there you go! That's basically all I ate when I first got mine. Puffcorn is good to eat to, if you have any of that.
Otherwise, just take what you want to eat and break it up. Put it un your mouth near your back molars to chew so you don't have to bight it.Health Question & Answer

I basically ate yogurt and mashed potatoes and all that other good soft stuff. After about 3-4 days the pain will completely vanish and you'll feel normal again. You should not eat sticky foods like gum or starburst. I got mine on 6 months ago and they're working out fine. Good luck.Health Question & Answer

Don't freak out! That pain only lasts for a few days. Try yogurt, its surprisingly filling. Spaghetti will work, too. Try taking motrin to ease the pain and it will be a bit easier to eat.Health Question & Answer
