I had 2 fillings done on 2 molars, help?!

Question: I had 2 fillings done on 2 molars, help.?
today is sunday and on this past tuesday i had 2 fillings done on 2 molars on the same side on the top. i usually have sensitive teeth because of receding gums due to over brushing.
but the pain on this side of my mouth is almost unbearable. it still feels like it did that same day when the numbing wore off. i have been using sensodyne and colgate sensitivity tooth pastes and taking tylenol. but it hurts so bad. i have also noticed that one of the molars that got the filling hits my bottom teeth before any other teeth. they weren't cavities just old silver fillings that went bad and needed replacing. my next appointment isn't until tuesday.. could this pain all be from the one filling being too big.? what can i do until my appointment tuesday to ease the pain.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
you could have what is called a "high bite" that is when the filling they gave you is too big and doesnt fit into the groove of the other teeth. this can cause a lot of pain when you eat. its pretty simple to fix, but you will need to get in and have them check it. until your appointment i would try and eat softer foods and try to not chew on that side of your mouth. you can keep on taking tylenol or even try some orajel if you think that will help. but definitely tell them to check for a high bite.

Call your dentist and he can adjust your bite. I'm sure everything will feel 100% better afterwards.Health Question & Answer
