Tooth hurts when i jolt my head after wearing retainers.?!

Question: Tooth hurts when i jolt my head after wearing retainers..?
I wear retainers, (Have been for a while now). My problem is that one of my back teeth which the brace clasps to, hurts if i jolt my head. It doesn't ache all the time and fiddling with the retainer's position can make the problem stop altogether. Though it can also continue to be 'sensitive' (for lack of a better word) for a long while after the brace has been removed.
I'm aware the ache could be decay or something, but on my last visit to the dentists (2 months ago) she saw no problems. Neither is it sensitive to hot, cold temperatures nor sweet foods etc.
So I'm wondering if it's likely that the pain is caused by the retainer being a tiny bit out off shape, perhaps after dropping it in the sink basin several times (-.-). Could it be applying pressure to the tooth and causing the problem.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Teeth actually have the tendency to move especially after braces. They still might be shifting around for better positioning so my suggestion is going to get refitted for another retainer. also you might be biting down too hard on it. =)Health Question & Answer
