Have found that nothing helps stop abscess pain. Tooth ache is notoriously resistant to any type of pain killer, including vicodin and darvocet.
If you are antibiotic call the dentist ASAP and have the antibiotic changed. If the infection didn't clear from the 1st course the dentist needs to know immediately.Health Question & Answer

He needs to take a swab to send to the lab, they will tell him which antibiotic will fix it up.
