Over the counter whiteners can work although much more slowly than those done by the dentist. Stay away from toothpastes and mouthrinses because these don't work. Whitening strips can work like Crest. I don't know about Rembrant. If the whitening solution has a hydrogen peroxide solution or carbamide peroxide solution you should get some results. From what I read White Strips work best-- I bought them and used them for a while. They did work, however, some of my teeth began to hurt and I stopped. I'm in my 50s and have used colas but never used coffee, tea, or tobacco.Health Question & Answer
