Question: I'm self conscious about my teeth. .?

I know i should be comfortable in my own skin, but i'm really not confident around new people. I have a gap in my teeth, and it's quite big. My dentists say i don't need braces, my mum won't pay for them and she says veneers cost too much. It really hurts my feelings when people comment on it, and i feel like i can't be as forward as i'd like to be because of it. Is there anything i can get done to my teeth that won't empty my bank.? And around how much do veeners actually cost.?

my mates 21 and she has a gap between her teeth and that doesnt hold her back (gap between the teeth is ment to mean good fortune (but i guess uv heard tht a gazillion times) you should worry about it i mean what would you rather have a gap between ur teeth or wonky yellow teeth :-) see things are looking up already good luckHealth Question & Answer

If it really bothers you I think you should pursue getting it fixed. I had really crooked teeth and now i have braces which have made me feel a lot more confident. I would talk to your dentist about your options. They all cost different, If you have a friend of the family who is a dentist then maybe they can do it for you for a lesser price. also maybe they can get your to pay monthly, maybe 20$ a month or something like that. I really hope that you get it fixed and just remember that its probably not as bad as you think it is!!!!!!!!!Health Question & Answer

If your dentist says you dont need braces, they are lying. I have a gap in my teeth and i need braces for it simple as. Go to the orthadontist. I learnt to live with my gap (im 14) i used to hate it so much i still do but its not going to change until i get braces, so you just gotta live your life, dont stop being yourself because of it. xHealth Question & Answer

Theres no hope for me then. I have a huge gap in the top of my two front teeth, so big you can put a polo in it sideways and it'll fall out.
I should've had braces when I was a kid but my Mum didnt like dentists so the minute they were mentioned she stopped taking me. I've hated her for it ever since.
