When they actually pulled them, no it didn't hurt. I was numbed as much as possible and just felt some pressure (and the sound was sickening). After wards it hurt for like 2 days or so.Health Question & Answer

My dentist used IV sedation on me. That is the ONLY way to go. When I woke up, it was all over. I had some pain for a few days, but nothing too bad. Had it done on Fri and went to work on Mon. Then, I got 2 dry sockets. Now, that was some pain! Had to go and get them packed with medicated gauze everyday for over a week. You want to stop the bleeding as soon as possible so it will clot, otherwise you will get a dry socket. Use some tea bags (after they have been brewed) to bite down on to stop the bleeding.Health Question & Answer

They numb you up pretty good. It's hurts after that wears off. Let's put it this way. A dentist tends to prescribe painkillers for a few days after the teeth are pulled.Health Question & Answer

From What I heard I heard it hurts like **** but if you get a lot of sleep and take pain relievers, then you will heal in a few days/weeks,(I think)Health Question & Answer

Nope, not at all. I didn't have much pain after either. I think it was a little sore the next day, then after that I was fine.Health Question & Answer

It hurts a lot. Ask them to put you on anesthesia.Health Question & Answer
