Somebody, please help! Tooth extraction?!

Question: Somebody, please help! Tooth extraction.?
I'm having trouble with a wisdom tooth extraction.
It was done last monday, so it's been 9 days.
I was not prescribed any antibiotics on the day of the extraction, but 3 days later I was in so much pain on the side of the extraction and earache, that my dentist called in for a prescription for penicillin 500mg which made the pain stop. (Thank God) I've been taking it since then, but like 2 days after I noticed that my throat was weird, like it was a little swollen and I did develop some diahrrea after I started taking them. I didn't stop taking them until last night. I've been having this throbbing feeling on the roof of my mouth and near the site where the tooth was extracted, not pain, but a throbbing feeling. Like a hearbeat. I also have been having headaches, it feels like I'm congested around my nose area.

I stopped last night. Should I not stop.?
I did tell my dentist about the throat feeling and he said not stop, but the roof of my mouth feeling was getting me really worried.

What should I do.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Do not stop the antibiotics it will help you and it will not work unless you take it every day on time and for as long as prescribed now if you think your having a allergic reaction then you need contact the doctor they can help tell u if its a reaction the the penicillin which by the way i dont see how it helped the pain.?.? anyways take Motrin for the pain as directed on the box i just got all 4 teeth pulled myself and everything your saying i went through and it sounds normal but if you dont take your antibiotics penicillin you are at risk for it not even working please keep taking it on time but again if you think its a allergic reaction go doctor asap but also again the throbbing you described everything i went through its normal and you should be fine soon xoxoxoxo take it easy spoil yourself with ice cream and what not again Motrin was the best pain reliever i used xoxoxoxox good luckHealth Question & Answer
