What happens when you get braces?!
Question: What happens when you get braces.?
I'm getting my braces tomorrow and I'm really nervous! What happens when they put them on.? Do they clean your teeth first.? And does it hurt right after they put them on or during they're putting them on.? Thank You soo Much!!! :) :) :)Health Question & Answer

dont worry. there worst part of it is that the glue is kinda sour. but thats really the worst part and it's not that bad. they kinda clean them but it's really fast. they ask you if you want silver or gold brackets and then they put a small amount of glue on your tooth and gently put the bracket on. it's super easy. if i were you, i would be thinking of the colors of rubber bands you want!! :) that's the fun part. it doesn't hurt after. it's just tight. but it doesn't hurt lol.i just got my braces off and i thought that would hurt but it was so fast and so easy! you'll be fine! good luck and don't be nervous. kat pretty much said the worst part. i hated that taste but they usually let you wash it out every 5-10 minutes. its completely painless. yes, they clean your teeth, but dont you do that at home.? its the same. you can barely feel the glue and brackets being put on and as long as you do what your orthodontist says while he/she is putting in the wire, your gonna have no problems and it only hurts about 3-5 hours after you get them on.Health Question & Answer
