My wisdom teeth haven't come in, but I got a slip from the dentist yesterday to get them removed in the summer.

it depends on each person. a year ago i had an appointment with an oral surgeon to get them removed, then found out my insurance wouldn't cover the whole cost until the next january. i'm finally getting them out next week, and they still haven't come in (although my gums have been itchy).
i would say if you're having a lot of discomfort in your gums where they'd be coming in, that's a sign they're coming in.Health Question & Answer

Well they don't even have to be through the gum for them to take them out. They can cut through it and it will be easier to get them out because they won't be rooted to the bone as securely then if you waited.Health Question & Answer
