How do get rid of a gap between my teeth?!

Question: How do get rid of a gap between my teeth.?
Answers:
Braces ... that's what I did. You could opt for something like veneers, but they are super expensive (about $700-$800 a tooth), not covered at all by insurance and because they will make them a little larger than your actual tooth so as to close up the gap, you will end up with two big front teeth like a rabbit. You will get the same effect with bonding too. also, if you do something to move just those two gapped teeth, you will create gaps on the other sides of those two teeth, thereby making the problem even worse. Braces were the best way to go for me. My insurance picked up 75% of the cost, the gap was closed and they look fabulous. also, because my braces were only closing gaps (my teeth were already straight), I only needed to wear them for about a year ... and I'm an adult.Health Question & Answer

HELLO,
you have several options;
1=braces
2=bonding

braces is permanent and the least invasive to the teeth, but takes longer.
bonding is faster, cheaper, but may need re-bonding laterHealth Question & Answer

I HAD A GAP MYSELF, I STUDIED ALL MY OPTIONS AND CHOSE BRACES. IT WAS THE BEST OF ALL OPTIONSHealth Question & Answer

Well, you could go for braces. If it's just a gap between your two central incisors (two front teeth) then they could correct it with "bonding" which is a tooth colored filling material. Or, you could just look like Madonna.Health Question & Answer

Braces depending on the orientation of your other teeth, otherwise you could get aligners (Invisalign). Just get a free consultation and you would be good.

PS... gaps are sometimes considered sexy so you may want to reconsider :-)Health Question & Answer
