Question: Should i get braces and how much do the hurt.?
I'm 13 and my teeth stick out so my mom was thinking of getting me braces but I'm scared of the pain. My older sister had them a long time ago but if they hurt she wasn't complaining much. Should I.? I hate my teeth and I also have dimples so when I smile with my teeth my funny teeth show and my ugly dimples do to.Health Question & Answer

I have braces my self and they don't hurt 1 bit. they are pretty damn annoying sumtimes though., like for example, food will get stuck in the wires and brackets and you won't know, you won't b able 2 eat most candy.
but look on the bright side, they straighten ur teeth, and you'll have straighter teeth than your friends like I do LOL so YEAH get some braces. it's a dtressful process but the result will just wanna make u smile all the time.Health Question & Answer

I had braces a couple years ago. When you first get them, of course they're going to hurt, but its nothing that you can't handle. Trust me, the pain will gradually go down as your teeth gets straighter. Its that or crooked teeth haha. good luck.Health Question & Answer
Braces don't hurt. I've had them for 3 years and a half when I was about your age...Your teeth could get sore occasionnaly but you really have nothing to worry about...Really!!! :)Health Question & Answer
