i went to India to accompany my wife, Maudine, while she was getting knee surgery in Mumbai. While my wife was recovering, my dental issues surfaced and I had a hell of a toothache. I went to see the dentist and was extremely impressed with the level of care I received and the price I paid. I then decided to undergo all the dental procedures I needed. I had been quoted a price of over $10,000 for the treatment but what I paid in India was simply a fraction of what I would have paid in the U.S. The entire treatment cost me less than $1,500. The dentists were very good and the clinic was very clean and comfortable. It was unbelievable and I was happy to be able to afford this long due treatment.
This was the first time I had traveled so far outside of the U.S., and let me tell you, it was an extremely positive experience. Everyone I met in India was extremely friendly and helpful, and language barriers were not a problem because everyone I encountered spoke at least some English. After my wife was discharged from the hospital, we explored downtown Mumbai. The city is amazing and there really are cows on the roads!
