What are the pros and cons of clear, self litigating braces?!
Question: What are the pros and cons of clear, self litigating braces.?
I am getting braces and my orthodontist offers two types of braces.
The first is the Damon system self litigating braces like this:

The second option is similar but uses clear brackets. They're called In-Ovation C braces:

The orthodontist said that they would both be the same price. Which do you recommend.? Has anyone tried either of these and if so, what was it like. Do the ceramic ones stain (the lady said they wouldn't but I have heard otherwise).?

I have the damon system.
They're okay... I just hate my braces in general.
I've noticed that my wire always comes out of my brackets in the back, i dont know if thats a problem with my braces, or me personally.
But the clear brackets seem so cool, i wish i could have chose those.Health Question & Answer

Well the disability of them is that if they get stained then it looks like you have yellow teeth. So unless you brush alot then its not a good idea.Health Question & Answer
