okay so i got my braces off like a month or two ago, and they gave me a clear plastic retainer. they told me to wear it all day with the exceptions of eating food and stuff, but i wore it all day only for about a week, then took them off and began to wear them only at nights when i'm sleeping. will this make a difference for my teeth.? will i need to get braces again if i only wear them at nights.?Health Question & Answer

I actually have a appliance Im supposed to be wearing every night. My orthodontist told me to wear them every night but I hardly wear them. Consequently my teeth have moved backwards towards their original position and I might need to get braces again but if you wear them every night you should be fine.Health Question & Answer
Your teeth can move back out of alignment if you don't wear your retainer as directed.Health Question & Answer
