Well... they numb your gum so when they perform the extraction you will feel a slight discomfort but not real bad pain, sort of like a fine needle if you don't like that feeling you ask for more anesthesia. After that. they will sew you up. and give you vicadin. So pretty much. the only real pain you feel is between the time when your anasthesia runs out and the time you take to go to the pharmacy to get the vicadin. unless you rush to get the vicadin before the anasthesia runs out which is what i recommend.Health Question & Answer
Not really if it hurts ask for more anesthesia they will give you pains meds. What hurts more is being awake and seeing them tug the Sh** out of your jaw for the tooth to come out!Health Question & Answer

yes it hurts..... but as u hav to extract it u need to bear the pain !! but u will be given pain killers
