Question: Cutting my gums for a graft..?
I have to have my gums cut for a gum graft on my lower front teeth. Anyone had this done.? What is it like.?Health Question & Answer

Your graft will come from the roof of your mouth, the hard palate. The numbing in this area will sting a bit. It will be sutured to the site on the lower front teeth and probably be covered with a special dressing to protect it.
