Well, there is two ways to go with this one, If you have small cavities or anything in that nature it can be quite painful, but if you kept your teeth clean and they are strong then it wont hurt at all! all you will feel is a slight pressure and then they will be gone! it seriously took my like 30 seconds to get the bottoms and top off! what they use is like a very small hammer and push up on the brackets and it pops them right off!Health Question & Answer

nope! You brackets just pop right off!
Then they need to take this drill-like thingy that get the glue remaining on your teeth off....not painful, you barely feel a thing!

It doesn't hurt. Yes, they do yank them off but it sounds worse than it is.

No it might feel uncomfortable, but it doesn't hurt. :)
