Question: Recovery for wisdom teeth extraction.?
I have 4 impacted wisdom teeth. How long will recovery take so i can go back to work.? I go to school full time and work full time so i am curious how long till i can go back.Health Question & Answer

The pain will be most severe 3-4 days after the surgery. I recommend doing the surgery when you can stay at home for at least 1 week. A major aspect that will help speed your recovery is to ice your cheek/jaw immediately when you arrive home for 10 minutes(on each side before your alternate) for around an hour.

My experience was wisdom was a rather pleasant one. 2 hours after I had my surgery, I was eating a hamburger. I was perfectly fine with no swelling the next day and I never really needed my pain medicine.Health Question & Answer

i took 2 days off. With the pain meds you are pretty much out of it. Whatever you do, do not suck anything! Dry socket is the worse thing ever. So I've heard.Health Question & Answer
