I had my Wisdom teeth pulled and one was impacted it has been a week and that impacted side still hurts.. is t?!

If I bite down lightly I feel like I am touching a nerve.. is that normal.? I am going back to the oral surgeon tomorrow. I did everything by the book/instructions. All my other teeth are healed and fine but this side is still sore. But they did tell me that the tooth was near a nerve and that they had to go through my bone to get it out.
