Muscle QUESTION! PLEASE ANSWER!?!


Question: Muscle QUESTION! PLEASE ANSWER!.?
Can you have a healthy diet, exercise a lot (i do only cardio), drink water and still not fit perfectly into your pants.? How do I know if it's fat or muscle.?
If I'm growing muscle (and I have a thick body frame) could it be possible for me to not fit into my pants any more.? or is it that i'm just gaining weight.? (although I don't understand why.?)
By the way, I've been trying to loose weight for a month and a half now (at the least)Health Question & Answer

Make sure you are drinking enough water and watching your salt intake.

The waist on your pants should be getting smaller regardless if you are gaining muscle. Check your calories. You should be eating somewhere around 1800 cals/day spread over 6 meals.Health Question & Answer
