yes! definitely eat something with complex carbs before a workout as you need the energy even if you are dieting trying to lose weight you need to eat before! also you need to have a after workout snack too..something with protein and simple sugars like a protein shake or something to replenish your muscles.

Yep... your glucose levels are probably low. Eat an energy bar, oatmeal bar, any type of little snack that will provide you with some energy before working out. Working out when you're hungry or have a low sugar level makes it more difficult and you won't get the full work out effect. Health Question & Answer
