Does bodybuilding/weightliftin... cause or have a high correlation to developing sudden acne?!

Question: Does bodybuilding/weightlifting cause or have a high correlation to developing sudden acne.?
I'm a college freshman and since I have total control of my diet, I recently began eating more protein like tuna, chicken, as well as eggs, fruits and a regular whey protein powder. Since I've been to the gym a few times in the past couple of weeks, I have noticed a severe outbreak of acne on my face, neck, arms and especially my chest. Could there be a connection between the two.? I know that correlations don't mean causality but it would be nice to know why I have all these pimples as soon as I have started training. I know that sometimes stress is also associated with acne, but my college experience has been no more stressful than my everyday life had I not gone to college, so I don't think that it's the problem. My skin was usually clear with very mild acne but now it's ten times worse and I want to know why.Health Question & Answer

It can definitely be related. Two possible reasons would be your increased testosterone production is causing issues with your sebacuous glands and/or your sweat could be clogging your pores. I have never heard of a natural trainer needing an anti aromatase or other similar types of meds (which are needed to counter side effects while using steroids). Try washing your face beofe and immediately after training. If it persists you may need something lie Accutane or benzoyl peroxide.Health Question & Answer
