Toning work out routines?!
Question: Toning work out routines.?
I have been lifting (mostly hand weights) for a couple years off and on, but much of my teqnique has been made up.
I use legitimate lifting motions that i learned via physical therapy and online sources, but my question involves number of reps and sets.
For benching: Is a pyramid style set cycle (20reps@70lbs,rest,15@85lbs,rest,10@100l... or a set rept count like 15reps@75lbs,rest,15@75,rest,15@75. better for toning muscle.
and for standard lifts with hand weights for say a curl, should i do a couple sets of say 30 reps, or should i be doing one big set and then moving onto a different excersise. ( i do a bunch of lifts w. the hand weights to work out all my upper body muscles)Health Question & Answer
