How do I get over my fitness plateau?!
Question: How do I get over my fitness plateau.?
Hello! Here's a little background into what I've been doing. I started working out in January and I work out four days a week. One day I do straight cardio, the next day I do upper body, then core, then legs for the final day. Each day I do cardio with the other exercises as well. So far, I've lost 30 lbs.! However, for the past couple of months I've kind of stayed in a holding pattern. I'm 5'4 and at 158 lbs. and I'd like to lose about 10-15 more before I want to add some more muscle. Any suggestions into how I can get out of this rut.?Health Question & Answer

Two things:
First, you must trick your body. Try changing your workouts by doing more circuit training one day, core/heavy training another day and alternate. Then try combining two body parts together each day and really blast those two muscle groups by pyramiding the exercises. (Roughly 4 exercises per muscle)
Second, your diet must be on par with your bodies needs. Check out

You didn't mention your diet. I would watch your portion sizes and try not to consume more than 1200 to 1400 calories per day and get in plenty of water. You should lose 1 to 2 pounds per week as long as you are consistent. Health Question & Answer
Simply vary your exercise. Remember to examine yourself in the mirror. To see if you are toning up. If so then don't worry about the weight.Health Question & Answer
