How much weight can I lose by 31st December?!


Question: How much weight can I lose by 31st December.?
I'm 5ft 9, currently weigh 230lbs, I'm aiming to get to 185lb which as I am broad built is actually a good weight for me (Dr's say so!) but even though that is my "long term" goal, I want a shorter term one of end of the year.

I'm going to follow the slimming world diet - it's worked for me before and is easy to do :]
And my exercise routine is 30 minutes of yoga per day and 20 mins of an exercise bike with the arm workout bits on it (which I'm going to increase my 2 mins each week).

I currently do no exercise, eat ok, but have the odd naughty snack, BUT I do drink 2-2.5 litres of water per day.

So how much can I lose by the 31st December by doing this.?

Answers:
The more you weigh, the easier it is for you to lose weight. There is really no idea as to how much you will lose as opposed to what you could lose by December 31st. A healthy weight lose is one to two pounds a week. Any drastic weight loss (i.e diet pills, extreme dieting) could cause serious health problems, and you might gain that weight all back.

Your strategy sounds ok so far. Include more fruits and veggies in your diet. The buddy system works wonders as well. Health Question & Answer
