Question: (Easy points!) I need help with cardio; which exercises can I do to tone up and lose weight in some areas.?
First off:
*I'm 16
*I weight 120 lbs.
*I measure about 5'3 or 5'4
Well :) I'm the kind of person who has a thin waist but everything else is like really proportioned. I don't know if its due to my heritage, but I find it could be since its not very realistic to be considered "fat" having a thin waist...I don't know if you understand D: anyways I'm Puertorican and its said that us Puertoricans have a lot of curves and are built that way but I hate having wide arms! I feel it looks bad to be skinny and have "fat arms". If you have any suggestions on how to fix this problem it would be gladly appreciated. I too want to have slight abs :) and tight buns and thighs lol

Answers:
For cardio activities, you can do dance, run, go biking, swimming, and just walking! They could be simple things that you do everyday!
For arms, I guess what you can possibly do is go to Walmart or a store that has weights. Not like the HUGE ones, but the smaller ones that weigh like 5-20 pounds. Find which one you think is the best weight for you. Weights may possibly help you lose the "fat" in your arms.
Don't worry about it, and I'm sure everything will turn out fine!

well im not that goood at this kinda stuff but....
push ups for arms
sit ups and crunches for waist (even though u dont need that)
and you can do alot for you legs
you can ride a bike, do lunges, bicyles,

You can never lose weight in a specific area! But try Callanetics, it has great exercises for tightening arms, and other muscles. Or try resistance tube workouts!Health Question & Answer
