how much protein should i be taking in before a workout.? I lift twice a day for 2 hours each and run three miles in the morning and three at night but have never taken supplements. I just went out and bought multivitamins and protein powder so i need to know. thanksHealth Question & Answer

I weigh 150 pounds so daily i need to take 150 grams of protein. also do not forget, when you eat meat, beans etc you get some protein, so taking 3 or 4 scoop will be enough for the day. Drink it after a workout. You also sound like you are overtraining, dial it down a bit. Muscles need rest to grow so dont over train them.Health Question & Answer
