Question: Im a 14 year old girl, im 5'4'' and i weight 110 lbs. my friends say im to thin but i feel so fat.?
okay here is what i eat
breaky
about 100 cals worth of special k cereal
water
an apple

lunch is usually
a cup of salad
some water
a slice of bodywise toast

dinner is
100 cals worth of skinny soup
some more salad
and some more toast, this time with butter

but after school snacks i always ruin my diet
ills have a bunch of fat free mashmellows
of some fat free chocolate icecream
or cucmber sticks diped in cottage cheese

I HATE MY BODY
im so fat and ugly and it drives me crazy

i take 5 hours of dance a week
plus 15 mins cadio a day (im so busy thats all i have time for)
plus a 2 hour walk on mondays
and a 30 min jog on tuesdays

i go to the gym for 45-60 mins on fridays starting next week

i want to get down to 95 lbs by my birthday
(oct 27 i turn 14)
what can i do to get there.?

Your meals are beyond amazing! I have the SAME problem with after school snacks! The reason a lot of school kids have the same snacking problem is either they are very active, and also because at school we are so used to being occupied that when we get home there's no limitations nor do we have anything better to do than snack, snack, and, of course, SNACK some MORE!!! Try resolving this and even before meals, always drink two glasses of water BEFORE meals, one or more during and one or more after (it fills you up though most Americans such as myself never listen to their body when it says it's full:P). Here's some tips for snacking:
-Eat, say, 10 marshmallows after two glasses of water, wait ten minutws drinking a glass of water and listen, are you really hungry or can you wait until your next meal.? If not, eat ten more, a glass of water and then if you are still hungry, eat five more then tell yourself NO, and think of the possible results ;)

- Don't pick foods from the bag nor watch TV or play video games/computer while eating. Here is what happens with both procedures:
*Pour some chips into a small bowl and sit down and eat your snack or meal. If you do this, you are paying attention to your food and you know it didn't disappear :P

*Grab the bag, slump over the couch watching TV and popping chip after chip into your mouth. The next minute you look into the bag, and all of the chips are gone; 15mins later and your feeling HORRIBLE and Bloated.

-Lastly about snacks, eat lightly. If you eat light foods, such as fruits&veggies you will be energized and less sluggish, while if you eat junk foods such as chips, chocolate, or ice cream, you will feel tired and miserable.

But, also, you burn a lot of calories. Try measuring your food intake at myfitnesspal.com (sorry it doesn't turn blue and let you just click on it). Create an account saying you are 18 or older, go to tools, BMR (the amount of calories you burn if you were to sleep 24hours) with your real age, ht, and wt, and then go to Home, then Goals, and click Custom and type in your BMR or less than that (the rest will calculate itself) and save it. Eat that many calories a day that way if you weren't to exercise one day, you'd still burn all of the calories you take in.
Try fitting in 50 pushups, 50 crunches, and 50 scissors on each leg (lay on side and lift top leg slowly up and down). If you can't do that many, start with ten and increase by one every day or 10 every week (do this even if you can do 50). Do this in the morning AND before bed even if you exercise that day (:
