glad to help!Health Question & Answer

Milk is a great way to help build muscles (assuming you are weight training). I DO NOT recommend skim milk simply for the fact that as long as you are drinking milk (which has been proven to help you shed fat while building lean muscle) you want some saturated fat in there (as in 1%oe 2%) because that is what helps your body actually use the calcium in milk to bring it to your bones. Without the saturated fat, you body cannot properly metabolize the calcium and you won't be getting as much as you think. Milk itself is a combination of whey (quick-release) and casein (slow release) proteins. And the natural sugars found in milk help your body refuel its glycogen stores (used for energy) after a workout so a glass of milk is the perfect thing to chug after a good workout. The whey goes to work right away on building the muscles and the casein works throughout the rest of the day slowly adding to that build. Best bet would be organic milk since you don't need all that extra chemical garbage being pumped into cows.Health Question & Answer

The only thing that builds muscle is resistance exercise or weight training. Diet alone will not make you build muscle tissue. Milk or other foods that contain calcium can contribute to stronger bones but dairy products also contain large amounts of saturated fat and can cause bloating and overall weight gain. A better choice for getting your calcium and other minerals are any dark green or orange vegetable like spinach or carrots. Health Question & Answer

No!lol. If you drink too much milk it makes u fat! Milk doesn't give your bones calcium like you're thinkin...like less than 10 % of calcium goes to your bones. Unless you take a calcuim pill.

Milk has calcium which helps build up the bones, but it's not very efficient at doing it especially for a woman/girl who has already gone through puberty. They best way to get your calcium is in a pill or chew that also contains magnesium [helps the body absorb the calcium better].

Drinking a lot of milk, however, will help.. but will probably leave you constipated.

sure, anything that has protien will. milk has a decent amount. peanut butter has a lot. milk + protien mix is what you want. you can pick up whey protien mix at gnc. mix that with milk and you get a really high protien dose. i drank about 2 cups of milk with a scoop of the mix after i lifted and it did work. you have to lift hard though, and for a while - at least 3-4 months to see improvements in the mirror. find a good lifting schedule and stick to it. you dont need to lift any more than 3 days a weekHealth Question & Answer
