What should I do if I'm working a second job and have to eat late?!

Question: What should I do if I'm working a second job and have to eat late.?
I eat 1500 calories a day approx. Approx 900 of those calorioes I eat in the daytime and the rest of I eat for dinner. anyway, I have a part time job in which I won't get home until 8:30. I go to bed around 9 (9:30 at the latest, as I typically work out before work the next morning). Now, I don't want to go into starvation mode but I also don't want to eat right before bed. What should I do.? I don't get any breaks at my 2nd job...I usually eat cereal for dinner and I am unsure if I should eat it and then go to bed half an hour to an hour later....Health Question & Answer

The idea of eating right before bedtime is bad is actually a myth. It's not like your body is going to gain more weight if you eat before you go to sleep. The bigger picture is calories in verses calories used throughout the day. I would recommend eating more like a protein and low carb vegatable if your going to bed a little after. For example, chicken and asparagus, or carrots, or broccoli. This should tie you over the next day. One of the secrets if your busy is to cook bigger meals so that you can have leftovers to eat so you don't waste so much time cooking everyday. I eat something small right before I sleep and I have been able to still lose weight and can maintain as well. Just don't eat junk food because that tends to have more calories.Health Question & Answer

There is nothing wrong with eating just before going to bed as long as you are not stuffing yourself. Many people say that you should not eat after a certain hour in the evening but that is not true.Health Question & Answer
