Can you give me some tips on weight loss?!


Question: Can you give me some tips on weight loss.?
I'm planning on losing 20 pounds. I would like to know what foods I should be including in my diet, and some good exercises that I can do (without equipment. The only type of equipment that I have is 2 10 pound dumbbells)

I'm also not sure if this information is required, but my current weight is 120 pounds, and I'm 5'0" at 17 years old.

When ever you diet, it should be because you want to be healthy, NOT that you want to fit in a size 0 rather than a 1 or 3!!

That being said, I just lost 68 pounds and here's how I did it: Cut out most junk food. Eat lots of fruit, veggies, lean meat and whole grains. Any kind of exercise is good. Walk, bike, swim, dance, run, jump, play tennis, play basketball (I'm sure you get the picture) ;)

Easiest tips: Cut out ALL soda and sugared drinks, including juice. If you want fruit, eat the actual fruit. When you're thirsty, drink water. If you MUST go to fast food places, make healthier choices. I know we all love french fries, but are they really necessary.? Get the grilled chicken rather than the 1/4 pounder. Have a side salad with fat free or low fat dressing.

If you seriosly want to loose some weight, you need to excercise reguarly (3 times per week for at least 30 minutes). You should stay away from fatty foods, eat lots of fresh veggies and fruits. Stay away from breads, if you do eat bread make sure it's whole grain wheat. No sugar, use a substitute (I love Splenda, it tastes most like sugar to me). Good luck and you don't need to loose much weight. Drinks 64 oz of water, no soft drinks ever. Take vitamins to keep you healthy. Eat lean meats, no processed foods.

i think your weight is fine and you'll be looking chubby and not fat!!!
anyways you can just do running and some healthy food and you'll be good!!
be sure you dont eat to much of fat and should eat more proteins!!!!
you can go to google and search for calorie calculator which tells you your daily intake of your calories. If you like to lose weight just have less calories for the day and if want to gain weight have more calories than that!!!Health Question & Answer

don't cut everything out of your diet at once.
make small changes.
for excersises try running or walking with the dumbbells.
and remember you should be careful when attempting to lose more than five pounds.

Eat lots of fruit and veggies! They are yummy and good for you! Studies show that eating several small meals a day, is much better for you than eating only 3 big meals a day. Try getting a snack in before classes, to keep of your raging hunger at lunch! Try walking for 60mins. 3 times a week as well as doing strength exorcises. also crunches do wonders

and no soda, or the juices that is only like 10%
switch to water,
also instead of chips have an apple or fruit its more filling with less calories
